Long day yesterday. Ruth’s washer was acting up – wouldn’t spin on one of the loads. It took a couple of hours to straighten things out and get back on track, but it made the afternoon’s activity a lot longer than it needed to be.
We’re a bit farther from So. Portland, but it is freeway all the way so it takes about the same time to get there. The new campsite is nestled in a bunch of trees, so we don’t get much direct sunlight from any direction. Not bad for a KOA.
We got quite an unexpected rain shower yesterday afternoon. It didn’t last long, but came down very hard while it lasted. Then we got another one just about bedtime. It cooled things down somewhat, but the air is still very thick with humidity. Today’s forecast is for low 80’s and the humidity is supposed to go way down. I hope so.
Nothing specific on the agenda for today. We’re trying to get in touch with two of our nephews that we haven’t seen yet. One of them lives here in Freeport, and as it turns out, only about a mile or two from the campground.
For the last week or so, we’ve had our weather pattern change with the breezes coming from the north! Everything is so crystal clear! Love it! And, it only got up to 78. Nice.
Good to see you, David. How’s it going for you?
We watched a very early (episode 2) 77 Sunset Strip last night. Bert Convy played a young lawyer. Boy! Was he young. Too bad he passed away at 57. Way too young! I like the earlier episodes better of this series. Better stories.
I over-did it yesterday, so today is going to be a reading day.

Good morning Vagabonds.
The temp reached 97 yesterday and it was hot.
Today it’s only expected to go to 90, then cool down to the 80’s with a chance of scattered showers on Fri.
I may have to put some water on the garden. Some of the tomato leaves are looking droopy.
Can’t do much of anything else today.
Peace to all of you.

Hello Vagabonds
Overcast, not to mention a little gray. The forecast calls for low to mid 70s today after a 97 in Burlington yesterday.
Got a date with the Aria Agency on Aging to iron out a few wrinkles in my retirement. Dose this mean I’m getting old?
A winning day to all and may God bless.
