Temps in the upper 80s and flirting with 90 tomorrow.
Albany Community Day on Labor Day, parade and chicken BBQ. A mini flee market on the Historic Society grounds.
I went to eight years of school in the building that now houses the Historical Society Museum and mine was the last eighth grade to graduate from an Albany school for twenty years till the new school was built.
We’re off again finally on our way home to Nevada. We’re heading to upstate NY first. The forecast for here in Freeport is 82, but in our destination it is 89. Should be an interesting day of travel.
Don & Ruth came out yesterday afternoon for a final get-together. We made supper here in the RV and enjoyed ourselves tremendously. Lots of hugs and “call us” before they left. It did set back the packing, though so we’ll have to do it all this morning.
Only 46 now, but it’s supposed to hit 80 before a cold front moves in tonight. After hearing about the high heat and humidity of the east, I don’t mind putting on a sweatshirt in the mornings. But, I do miss the rain! Lucky you, David.
MyMountainMan is planning to continue moving and cutting logs today. We should have enough to last us until after Christmas. So, after he gets the area cleared out, we can order another load of logs. And then it starts all over again.
Nothing much happening here in Mid-MO, just spending a quiet day at home with my husband. We are experiencing light rain right now and rain is predicted for the rest of the week. Currently 75 degrees out. As much as I enjoy the rain I hope it is dry later today when I go to grill our hamburgers.

Good morning Vagabonds.Had a good time at our grandson’s new house. Very nice house but it is in the boondocks and that’s not for us.
Today we go to my niece’s house but at least it’s only about five miles away.
Temp today will be in low 90’s with dew point about 70 pushing the heat index up to about 100.
We on the immediate coast not quite so high. I’ll believe that when I see it. Tues. the same.
Have a good day to all.
