We made it to Hershey yesterday. The repair guy showed up about 5 and managed to disconnect the motors in the slide and we pushed it in manually. Then this morning, one of the staff at the campground helped Michael to create wooden blocks that hold the slide in place while we were on the road (while I took care of early morning laundry). They weren’t perfect, and we’ll have to tuck some of the insulation back into place before we hit the road again, but at least the slide stayed in all the way here.
Getting those motors disconnected was the hard part. They are located at the top of the slide on either side, so he had to be 10 feet in the air on a ladder, and they were so well buried in their niches that he really struggled to disconnect them. Ah well, we got it done and we’re on the road again.
Today we plan to visit Gettysburg. It’s about 50 miles from here, so it will be a nice drive.
It was 86 yesterday! We’re expecting 80’s until it cools off on Tuesday. WooHoo!
Nothing special today, just getting caught up on things. We went to the doctor (my memory test was “completely normal”!). Then did the Walmart and Costco run and stocked up on vitals (I hate when we run low on vitals).

Good morning Vagabonds.
Didn’t have a chance to contact you all yesterday.
Was very hot with the temp up to 97 and high humidity. We broke the record for days over 90.
Had a strong T shower in the afternoon for awhile with heavy winds.
The temp today is supposed to be in the 70’s and into the weekend as the weather is coming down from Mark’s way.

Howdy Vagabonds
Appears tobe a fog down in the valley this AM. Temps in the mid 70s today, going tobe comfortable.
I’m hope for a visit from the fridge repair man today. (please please please)Well, y’all have splendiverus day. ;-)
