I just finished posting pictures of sugaring in Vermont on FB, some of them are vintage shots of a less mechanized time when they said horse power they meant it.
Grocery shopping this morning, then, well, not much else.
I’m getting mighty tired of this Arctic Blast! It was minus 11.3 degrees this morning. If I count the positive zero yesterday, we’ve had 6 days in a row of sub zero weather! Just 8 more days of this and all those bark beetle larvae will be eradicated! WooHoo!
Since it’s too cold to go out, I’ll do a bunch of laundry and vacuum. Gotta get my exercise somehow.
Well it is currently 16 degrees out and sunny. The weather report is for freezing rain tonight and tomorrow so I don’t know if I will get to go to church in the morning. We plan on staying in today and will probably do a little housework. It is good weather for going through cabinets and closets and getting rid of things that are no longer being used.
Yesterday morning, I was out and about and managed to crash into another car. I (and the other driver) am okay, but the car is not safely driveable. I got cited for failure to yield (which I certainly deserved), and the other driver got cited for driving without a license. So we filed an insurance claim, rented a car and did what we could before the insurance office back east closed for the weekend.
Today is our monthly Ladies to Ladies meeting. And I am finally going to give the finished “Old Rugged Cross” to Lois. I still need to make the deviled eggs, so I’m off for now.

Good morning Vagabonds.Going to be cooler and very windy today and Sat.
Temp will be in the 30’s.
Not going to be too busy a day.
Do some food shopping in morning and I don’t know what else until I go to church at 4 p.m.
Maybe sort through some of the papers I have and through out the old ones that I don’t need to keep anymore.

Morning, Village!
Well, we didn’t get any snow last night. Temperature is in the low 30s, but not freezing. The snow line stopped about 20 miles north of us.
