I’m reading another one, Wyatt Earp, by John Flood. This book was written during Wyatt’s life time, with Wyatt providing the information. But the author was so horrible a writer that the book never got published until 2011!
Temps in the low thirties heading for a high of 37. They’re talking about snow showers this afternoon (isn’t that what they used to call flurries?)
Oh David, have you had any of that snow in Texas I’ve been hearing about? I remember watching a Fiesta Bowl one year and at one point you couldn’t see the field because of a snow storm. (>.<)
And the countdown continues till the end of the insanity called the election. Hang in there guys and gals. (O.O)
It was 30 during the nite, and will reach 46 this afternoon, That’ll be warm enough for my walk.
Our grocery shopping went well yesterday. 2 stores translates to about a mile of exercise. We stopped at our local supermarket. They have an outstanding in-house bakery. Each day they have a different bread. Tuesday’s was “Norwegian Farmhouse” bread with lots of different seeds and different flours. You can smell the rye. Nice.
The flooring guys are back today to finish up the kitchen trim and do the bathrooms. They are doing a terrific job. They even found some “quarter round” trim at Lowe’s that matches our cabinets. It looks great. It may extend into a third day on Friday.
Other than that, I’m doing laundry as usual for a Wednesday, and the cats are locked up with their food, water, litter box and favorite blankets in the spare bedroom. They aren’t real happy about that.
We’re supposed to get up to 75 today, but it’s only 60 at 9:30 so we’ll see. Our AQI is the lowest it has been in quite a while at 34 (green).

No snow for us! It got to the 50s a few days ago, and we’re getting rain today. We actually wore light jackets when we went golfcart riding yesterday.
