Looks like another one of those do nothing days, well, I do have a DR string trimmer to unpack and assemble. It’s one of those that have wheels and a heavy string head. There is also an interchangeable “Beaver Blade” for cutting down small trees. My nephew bought it to get at hard to mow places. We’ll get it together and see how it goes. (^.^)
Here we go on another new week. The housekeepers are due at 10. I would wager closer to 11. I am going to try not to obsess about their tardiness because they do a good job.
ByE: E asks why B didn’t come back to the top since he can swim and E says “I don’t know.” Last panel he says “I ate 4 of your wife’s home made biscuits and sank to the bottom”.
My new slide scanner arrived yesterday afternoon and I spent a few hours viewing a whole lot of my dad’s old slides. I actually scanned & saved about a quarter of them. The rest were either wildflowers (my mom’s favorite type of photo to take), scenery of unknown locations, people I don’t know or trips that my folks took in which my brothers & I have no interest. They trust me to choose. I did find 3 photos of the pet desert tortoise we had when I was a young teen. As far as I know these are the only photos of him that exist. I will email them to my brothers today.
We got up to 87 on my car’s thermometer yesterday afternoon after driving south toward the sun for a good ten minutes. It was only 84 on the patio and less than that inside because of the breeze. Today’s forecast is for 80.

Light chores for today, then it’ll be time to read. I’ll make my slow cooker "rum ribs’’ without the rum. They’re always good on a cold Fall day.
