It’s at 23 this morning although it’s still dark they say light snow, we’ll see after sunrise. For the day it is predicted occasional snow showers and 34 degrees.
Jan, you mentioned having a sweater in your car, well we had a friend of the family that not only kept a sweater in her car but all kind of blankets and such. I should do the same, a snowmobile suit would be a good thing to keep in the winter time.
Well Vagabonds, have a great day and may God bless.
Another sunny day here with wispy clouds overhead. I don’t know how cold it got last night, but I can see frost on the shaded part of the roof across the street. The interesting thing is that you can see where one of the 2nd story units doesn’t have attic insulation because the big square that is his roof is frost-free. I don’t envy him the second story and no insulation in the summer here. We’re looking at a forecast of 57 today.
Yesterday I spent some time walking around the project with our board president and we had a chance to talk to the contractor who is doing our painting. He gave us some suggestions for other work that needs to be done (he has licenses for a lot more than painting). He’s doing a great job and we let him know that.
Other than that, I spent time working on my rug while I had “St. Elsewhere” playing on the TV. I have 8 rows completed now (out of 151). It’s slow going. I did finally figure out how to keep better track of which section I’m working on, after having to rip out about 30 strands and redo them. I don’t know if I told you, but the rug is a lion face and mane.
another day in the 36 degree range. but we don’t have any precip to worry about.
the roll in shower is coming along. he has the old bathtub is removed, and the tile as well, and the walls removed and the old tile. yesterday he made the new sub floor and started the wall assembly. it is very noisy, so i’m really glad he’s only working in the afternoons.
