    Good morning Vagabonds

It was a little brighter this morning but it has gloomied down a bit now. The thermometer was reading 60 when I got up. The forecast is generally cloudy, no rain called for today but, it is Vermont after all. I should know I’ve lived here for 70 yrs.

Hopefully we can get that grill seasoned today and then have those stakes Sunday.(^.^)

Going to stay on the down low today. Hope your day great and the Lord keeps you company.

    Good morning, Vagabonds.

I need to stay off my feet today as much as I can. While I’m on the prescribed medication, I was told that I wouldn’t notice a difference in the pain level for a couple of weeks. In the meantime, I’ve been up and moving way too much and I hurt. So today I’m a couch potato. It’s a good thing I have nothing in particular planned.

I did get everything done that needed to be done yesterday, including getting all my patriotic decorations up. I found a couple of those half-circle flag banners at Lowe’s and attached them to our patio railing with zip ties. We are allowed to put up “holiday” decorations a month before a given holiday and remove them within 2 weeks afterwards. I kinda fudge a bit, putting up my red, white & blue wreath before Memorial Day and not taking anything down until mid-July. Nobody’s complained yet. This year I found a hanging for my front door that says “Faith” “Family” and “Freedom” on three tin signs held together with twine.

We did get up to over 100 on my patio again yesterday, but the “official” high temp was only 97. When I was driving around yesterday, the car’s thermometer said 103 at one point. Today’s forecast is for 100 and tomorrow jumps to 105. Yuck!

    Everyone have a blessed day.
