It was 32 when I got up, it’s cloudy and some snow in the air, 36 for a high.
Had a good day for yesterday’s outing, looks like I’m glad we’re not going today. We’re getting our winter tires on tomorrow and take the snow blower for its prewinter check up, don’t want it quitting on me halfway through the winter.

Yesterday turned out just as expected. I did laundry and worked on my cross-stitch. The outlining isn’t going as easily as I thought it would. It’s an odd pattern and really easy to mess up. I ended up almost taking out more stitches than I put in! The good news is that I’m almost done with the “odd” part. The rest of it looks pretty easy.
I’m off to prayer group this morning. After that, I’m not really sure what the rest of the day will hold. The weather is doing its unpredictable thing again. The forecast is for 75 and according to the weather channel, most of the country is getting temps that are 10 to 20 degrees above average.
Some of the ads here on GoComics (and elsewhere) are getting downright offensive. I have a piece of thin cardboard that I lean against my screen, resting the bottom edge on the top row of keys (I have a laptop). I use it to cover up the worst of the ads. This morning’s nastiness is a photo of a model from navel to mid-thighs only wearing an extremely skimpy g-string. I don’t need to stare at that!
