Clouds with the occasional strip of blue, I saw 25 when I was making coffee. The forecast: partly cloudy this morning, clouding over this afternoon, high 41. (^.^)
My dad spoke of one year a way back, there was very little snow and he said “Looks like it’s going to easy sugaring this year.” We all know we should never say such things. A big late winter storm came and buried everything. The snow was so deep they had to take just the horses to break the roads through the sugar place, then hitch up the sled and do it again. Then they scatter the buckets, then tap the trees and hang the buckets. Then the daily gathering runs and a roaring pan of boiling sap atop a fiery arch. These days some sugar producers still use wood only, some use fuel oil and some a combination. Sugaring, a sweet time of year.
Have yourselves a sweet day Vagabonds, may God keep you safe and sound. (^.^)
Yesterday turned out to be a fairly pleasant day. I spent the afternoon with Cozy and she kept me laughing most of the time. She’s had such an interesting life. I just wish she’d stop using the “F” word so much.
Church last night was good. We studied 2nd Corinthians 7 and the speaker was very knowledgeable and a good communicator.
Today I’m off to my new primary care doctor at the clinic that’s 2 blocks away from my home. I just need to remember to take all of the paperwork with me that I filled out for them. It will be a meet & greet mostly.
Our forecast for today is 67 so it should be a pretty nice day. I don’t see a single cloud in the sky this morning. I didn’t yesterday morning either, but it clouded over in the afternoon so we’ll see how it goes today.
