    Good morning Vagabonds

When I got up this morning I noticed that there was more light on the other side of the frost on the sink window, I walked over to it and beheld the first morning light. Then the song “Morning Has Broken” started in my head. That’s an ear worm I can live with.

This morning’s temp was 10 blistering degrees, and partly cloudy. The forecast says: Partly cloudy with a high of 17. Not very high if you ask me. (^.^)

The trip down to Dartmouth was smooth sailing except for the drive over Sheffield Heights, the highpoint of I 91 in VT. As I said yesterday morning the clouds were hanging low and the Heights were socked in. Then down around Fairly, VT there had been a rockslide and state trucks had the right lane blocked. (Hard not to think of the story of Fallen Rock) We got home around 7:45.

We got sun light shining on the house and it seems good until Daylight time begins then we’re back in the dark for a while.

Welp, have a great day Vagabonds and may God bless.

    ttfn

    Good afternoon, Vagabonds.

I finally broke down and am using a flash drive to transfer files from my old computer to the new one. It’s working on the photos now. Slow going since there are more than 9000 of them (13 gig worth). Good thing I have a 16 gig flash drive!

Today is a “down” day except for the housekeeper. She’s busy vacuuming as we speak.

We finally watched the rest of Hatari! before she got here. It is one of my all time favorite movies. The scenes of John Wayne and the rhino are what made me respect him enormously. No camera trickery, that’s really him within inches of a rhino laying on its side. He even pushes on the side of the animal. I can’t think of too many actors who would have done that other than the one guy in the scenes with him (Luis was the character, I don’t know the actor’s name.)

It’s another pretty day here with some high clouds and 72 degrees. The forecast is for 74, but we’re almost at the peak time of day so I doubt we’ll get there. The storm that’s hitting Northern California shouldn’t get this far south, but we may get the edges of it in the next few days. About the lowest we expect is 62 on Monday.

    Everyone have a blessed day.
