Spud-Osiris, Lord, you are safe as long as your wife, the lady Isis, is only speaking through the painting. But if she climbs down off that tomb-wall, then this could get complicated!

No, stop! The reason he’s in trouble hasn’t been revealed yet. Don’t rack your brains trying to research this, it’s not mythological. Don’t make yourself crazy, GEE1A.

Hey Justin, I think Isis was angry with Osiris because he was turning into a couch potato, and so she decided to complete the process to teach him a lesson. Of course, the show that he had been watching excessively was Veggie Tales.

Justin: You know it’s your fault for including so many obscure references that people expect it to be something like that! :)

There’s a regional brand of potato chips called Old Dutch. Maybe Osiris is going to be fed to the chipper.

Perhaps we should take this whole scenario with a few grains of salt. Iodized, if you like.

I believe the Dutch prefer satay sauce (peanut-based) with their fries (Indonesian influence)

In New Orleans you can get a french fry po-boy that’s smothered in roast beef gravy. It’s a grand epicurean delight.

    (Or was it the game?)

    “Hey, Osiris! He likes it!”

The Pharaoh had several crowns he could wear: White (Upper Egypt), Red (Lower Egypt), Combined (Both lands), Blue, Atef, and Nemes (seen here). I was always interested in the various little gizmos the Egyptians added…

Um, did noone notice that that is Not Isis but Hathor? The cow horns with the moon is Hathor’s symbol. Isis is indicated by the little throne over her head. although she often wears the vulture headress, symbol of the mother goddess, Mut. but so do many other goddesses

In art, originally Isis was pictured as a woman wearing a long sheath dress and crowned with the hieroglyphic sign for a throne. After she assimilated many of the roles of Hathor, Isis’s headdress is replaced with that of Hathor: the horns of a cow on her head, with the solar disk between them.
