Justin, I like your art and humor, but I think you ought to cut back on the boldface. “I JUST rearranged all of my music FOLDERS and NAMED them all after famous POETS.” Do people actually talk with that kind of emphasis? Or does it serve only to aid in skimming?

When anyone refers to “elevator music” as a genre I struggle to keep from laughing. Anything can be “elevator music.” It is a style of presentation, not the composition. One time, while looking for an empty seat in a cafeteria, the soft background piano “elevator music” got my attention because I thought it sounded familiar. And then I recognized it and was totally amazed. It was the Pilgrims’ Chorus from Wagner’s “Tannhauser!” Who could imagine using anything Wagnerian as “elevator music?” Anyone for a dreamy “Gotterdamerung?” Hah! To add to the fun, later the background was Gershwin’s “Rhapsodie in Blue” — but not the Paul Whiteman arrangement.

Hilarious stuff, very witty. I love the fork in the road, literally.
