Oh, Karma, puh-leeze! Your overacting is not going to convince anyone who likes having a Christmas tree to give up that child-pleasing symbol of seasonal delight and gaiety. Now, gather ’round the Christmas tree, friends, and join in song:

My Uncle used to buy a live tree with the root intact. It would sit inside for the holiday season, then be moved to the outside for replanting. As I recall, all but one survived and thrived.

When he sold the house, he had a mighty fine, natural windbreak made of memories.

For the last 5 years my parents bought us a tiny, one foot tall, live tree, after Christmas we plant them in the yard. All but one survived. One is over 10 feet tall now. It’s strange that a pine tree would live and thrive in the middle of the desert, but we have 4 “living proofs” that they do, and I already have the sprinkler system set up for this years tree, from the one that didn’t make it, “bonus”.

Looks like Karma is throwing a walleyed fit in panel 4, love it. And yes, the flag says it all. ;:^)

“Yes,” bluskies? So, “Torn from it is home, killed in it is tender youth”? I think you were looking at the wrong “it’s.”
