    You might not want to use the corn-based litter. It’s an amazing growth medium for bacteria. Cats will step in the used litter and then lick their paws. Not good.

    From Dictionary.com:.organic,adjectivecharacteristic of, pertaining to, or derived from living organisms..Therefore, sand is not organic.
