It’s just analogous to the Arch-Villain droning on and on about his Evil Plan until the Captured Hero can finally escape before being shot/sawn in half/poisoned/drowned, etc. Wily Bee has outsmarted Anansi the Trickster, and that is what has to hurt the most!
