The horse’s expressions matched mine all the way through.
I prefer Billy Connelly’s version, “Just a half stoned cowboy”…….

Campbell sang it, and was awesome. But Larry Weiss wrote it. He was a fairly popular songwriter in the 60’s and 70’s.
I guess a knight who sharpened swords would be a whetstone cowboy.
El Jefe Cat Café to host its Grand Opening! ;~)
Didn’t know you where opening a new venture out here in our giant litter box Justin? ;~)
I wrote my own Campbell parody, to the tune of “Wichita Lineman”:
I am a dogman from the country,
And I walk on two feet,
Searching in the night
For an animal to eat.
I hear you trembling in your houses.
I can smell you through the spruce.
And the Michigan Dogman
Is still on the loose.
I’m not as dreaded as a wolfman,
But I hunt in a pack,
And if you hear my manlike scream,
Prepare for an attack.
Never mind the Beast of Bray Road.
I’m your reason to vamoose.
The horse doesn’t seem to be a big fan of Sir Dudley’s singing anyway.
Sir Dudley seems to be in an uncharacteristically cheerful mood (at east initially). Too bad that Boody’s bad allergy to Glen Campbell spoiled the day!
Was Boody referring to Glenn Cowbell?
Then there was the Hit song:
“Mommas, Don’t Let Your Sons Grow Up To Be Vampires”.
