Beaks? Ask that Darwin guy, I’m sure he’s around here somewhere. He wrote a whole book inspired by the difference of beaks in birds. Seeds. Nectar. Flesh. Vegetation. Scum off of water.

if you were SUPPOSED to be a vegetarian, your teeth would be all MOLARS. We have molars and CANINES, there are four canines, two in the top row and two in the bottom. Canines are the sharpest and most pointed teeth. Because of their pointed shape, they are also known as “cuspids.” The teeth located adjacent to the incisors are employed for both shredding and gripping food. The canines are the longest teeth in the mouth and can exert a lot of force when biting down. The canines’ pointed shape allows them to pierce through hard foods, such as tough MEATS.

Beaks are like scissors or pliers. Slice or crush. Or just grab and swallow whole. Birds use a gizzard to grind food for digestion. I suspect Grif has back teeth to do the same.

Sorry, dear, but you are a Human and therefore an omnivore. We eat both. Some Humans choose to not eat meat, but have to take vitamins to make up for what they’re not getting from their diet. We have slicing and grinding teeth for handling both plant-based foods and meat-based foods
