Our small yard at the last place we lived had no trees in it, but was surrounded by trees that generously shared their leaves. One day after I’d raked the back, we had some wind and the yard was full of leaves again. Did I grumble? Well, yes.
A couple of days later, I went back to take up the rake and saw that the leaves had all blown away again, leaving the yard fairly pristine. I can live with that!, I said.
