She just wanted you to dust under the bed.

Good co-feature with today’s “Peanuts Begins.”

Thing I learned today: Fritzi bathes the cat.

Just think, Nancy, a nice soothing bubble bath…..

Apparently they aren’t interested in godliness.

Bathing a dog or cat gets you pretty wet anyway. so why not knock out all three at once? Have Nancy bathe the other two.

There was a recent Nancy Classics strip in which Nancy and Sluggo argued whether the Bearded Lady was a real woman or a man in drag. When the Bearded Lady was afraid of a mouse, Sluggo admitted “I may have been wrong.” Some readers pointed out that some men are afraid of mice.

That point was made in a rerun of an episode of The Avengers from the 1960s which I watched last night. Steed and Emma were investigating people driven mad by fear. One of them was a man who was terrified out of his wits by what the camera revealed to be a white mouse.

Nancy and her pets certainly have a fear of baths.

Just yesterday Aunt Fritzi couldn’t get Nancy OUT of the bath.

Water phobic trio.

And funny how the pets are English speakers.

At first, I thought she was shouting out the window at her neighbor, Mrs. Goldberg.
