Sluggo (and opportunity) knock only once. Sales creeps knock at a minimum 3 times. And loudly.

Never buy anything door to door – it only puts you on a “sucker” list. Especially magazines – mother in law once signed up for a “good deal” on magazines, and ended up paying hundreds of dollars for magazines she had no interest in until the contract ran out. The rest of the family now uses this as a reason to NOT buy anything door to door.
