Nancy: An ARCHIE COMICS summer digest to read--- My pets with me-- Hangin' in the sun. Hanging out in a bathing suit all day---A hot dog and a lemonade for lunch--- A toast of the paper cup---"HAPPY PERFECT SUMMER DAY to ME"
Nancy, You are an inspiration as well as being an institution!I think dinner is going to be me sitting on a bench by the river that runs behind us, eating a left over grilled bratwurst. Thank you for my own perfect summer day…
This was me in the summers in the 60s. I had Archie comic books and Peanuts comic paperbacks or a Happy Hollister book to read. I ate hot dogs, drank lemonade and swam in my swimming pool. I wish I could return to those days!
There’s a Hundred and four days of summer vacation, then schol comes along to end it. The problem that face us this time of year, is finding the best way to spend it. (With apologies to Phineas and Ferb)

I fondly remember when they incorporated useful knowledge such as the story where Archie learned Judo.
