Great story about Stan and Mrs. M. One day Stan was mobbed for autographs as he left the park with his wife Lil, to whom he was married for 70 years. As the fans closed in they jostled Lil, and she got angry pushing back hard at a few of the boobs. Stan immediately went to her side and once satisfied she was OK, he chastised her as follows. Please Lillian , these are my fans, you can’t respond like that. Have a little self control. True story, I kid you not.
