Hey, what happened to the tech jokes? I want to hear about how the opacity setting on Poochie’s “spots layer” slides towards 100% the more ice cream Nancy drips.
I’m with Michael, the lucaflects on the ice cream are very cool. And something that virtually couldn’t be achieved to this level of quality if this comic wasn’t “done on a computer,” as per a recent complaint.
Poor puppy! I hope he can reach his spot with his tongue so he gets a treat. It would be annoying to be forever sticky. :)
My sister used to have a dalmatian and I would sometimes take it for a walk for her with my own dog after my sister had a surgery and needed to rest. And like I mentioned yesterday I had a certain pipe I always took with me….. but I also would have a black Sharpie in my pocket as well. My sister knew all the spots on her dog so very well…. so to tease her…. I would occasionally use the Sharpie to draw on a new spot. :) Sometimes just a normal spot…. sometimes it was a shape (star, triangle, etc)… sometimes a tiny “smiley face”. :)
Initially she not particularly amused…. but grew to appreciate my sense of humor more and purposefully would look for my new “art”. :)

I wonder how much of that dog’s spot is real.

I like the highlighting on the ice cream cone. (Yes, that’s my my major takeaway.)

Poochie is showing the amazing restraint of a dog who’s been trained to stay just off panel.

How can she spill food directly on the polka dots every single time she spills food?

Most dogs I know would prefer to face the other way.
