I may be inordinately tickled with myself because as soon as I read the first speech balloon, I went straight to the end and read it “backwards”.
That may be because one of my favorite movies plays out in a sort of modified reverse chronology. It’s “Betrayal,” based on the play by Harold Pinter. First we see the end of a love affair set in 1977… and then work backwards to its beginning in 1968.
Reminds me of how GoComics previews the middle panels of a comic strip on that strips page, as if they were completely unaware of how comic strips worked.
I have to admit that when I first read the comic at 6:00am this morning….. my thought was…. “What the hell is going on? I do not get it.” But, now…. haha…. beautiful! What a creative, and wonderful set of panels today!!!! Thank you Olivia!

Good movies, by the way. Or Pulp Fiction. Sorta like the film Memento. But here it is. I didn’t think I’d see a comic strip told backwards.

The regular way made no sense, until I read it backwards.

Backwards read, you must.

That’s the VCR convention for “reverse”. Most streaming services use a circular arrow meaning “jump back”, don’t they? I think OJ may be an old.

Nancy’s back! (or should I say, backwards?) And, how did Olivia think of this? Impressive. : )

Reminds me of the ongoing Usenet conversation about quote order. Or the way Twitter shows me everything in the reverse of chronological order.
