i much prefer the “feminine” label to the “feminist” one. Many before me gained for all women the right to vote and the right to work. Those feminists of the 70’s gained very little; in fact they put womanhood back. They gained the right to argue for equal pay in equal jobs. They lost our right to be treated like ladies, to be respected for bearing children and rainsing them well, to be appreciated for the hundred os hours of charity work to which we contributed. They lost our right to BE ladies and have made us one of the “guys”. I completely reject the feminist label…..bring back the one that respects me for being feminine.
