After school, every local station had its own kids’ show. There would be some sort of character to host the show, with his/her sidekicks. There might have been a puppet or two. The station’s weatherman was usually one of the performers.
The weekday afternoon cartoons usually weren’t as good as Saturday morning’s.

The most difficult part of parenting is, the kids.
