If there was anything that made prayer work we’d all be doing it. That mountain moving thing is just silly story telling and basis for guilt when it doesn’t work. I think the benefit is the meditation part, so introverting physically does help that. … I gave up mumbling into my hands years ago.

Praying to a mythical deity is just talking to yourself, and they are ALL mythical. Pick any one of the thousands of gods that humankind has worshiped slavishly over the millennia and prove that even one of them is based in any kind of rational reality, including the current favorite.
