I watch the same movies over and over again to see if the events in them or the endings have changed. it’s the only way to know for sure whether I’ve switched universes again. I may not be able to transport proof, but at least I know every time it happens and am able to relax and go along with whatever the changes are so no one sends me to the looney bin.
When they were young, my boys watched “Godzilla (1954)” six times in a single day, and “the Love Bug (1968)” four times in the same day. (it was storming outside, and I was lazy and didn’t feel like entertaining them so it was babysitting by Betamax!)
