I was working at a toy store in ‘84. You wouldn’t believe the lies people came up with to try and jump the waiting list for a Trivial Pursuit game.
One woman called saying she was Gerald Ford’s personal assistant. I told her to come in with a Secret Service agent and I would give her the game.
Jan, you can use that knowledge FOR trivia! (I’m always surprised at the things trivia guys come up with.)
I have played in that Wisconsin contest for years. :)
I would love to participate in a trivia contest, but I’m pretty certain I’m not smart enough! (Especially after a couple of beers.)
