I got one of those. They told me I would be arrested if I didn’t pay. I said “Go ahead and send the cops to arrest me! I need the vacation!” They hung up!
Years ago I had Canada’s IRS show up to do an audit and said if I owed, they weren’t leaving without a payment. Turns out they owed me and I stood there hand out asking for refund. Told me it didn’t work that way. At that point I explained fair is fair and I had no problem to call the PMO (political privilege at he time) and they would call Revenue Canada’s boss. After a frantic call they arranged to have a cheque sent Monday. The hand written Government cheque was first, wish I had made a copy. (Early 70’s)

SCAM!! Some college girl sent “them” $6,900 in gift cards because the IRS NEEDS gift cards!!! I think whatever she spent in tuition was wasted too!!

that is why there is voice mail. also some phones allow you to send numbers not on your contact list to vm.
