I had a neighbor that I really didn’t know other than that they were an elderly couple with a daughter about 30 yo living with them. After a bad snowstorm I decided to clear their driveway for them using my riding mower/plow. They stared at me through the window while I worked, didn’t acknowledge my waves, and never came out. I didn’t expect payment but at least a wave and a smile instead of a scowl. I never helped them again.
