The last “Saints” to come to my door were introduced to their own history when I told them how their so-called church murdered all but the youngest daughter of an ancestral family of mine at Mountain Meadows. They stole her to be raised by a Mormon family. This history is not taught to them today but many of us remember. Needless to say, they don’t come to my door anymore.
a couple of those good folks caught up to me as i was leaving our veggie patch, waiting to pull out onto the highway and head home. i smiled and wished them good luck, then added, but i hope your good luck is far away from here…
