Oral phenylephrine HCl has been demonstrated ineffective against sinus congestion (although the nasal spray does work). Studies show _less than 1% _ gets into the bloodstream. Yet it continues to be sold for such purposes.
I discovered this years ago when pseudoephedrine was put behind the pharmacy counter. Pseudoephedrine DOES work and you can still get it. You just have to ask for it, show your driver’s license and not buy it in boxcar lots.

I like the insurance company that claims they don’t have a jingle or a mascot and every ad shows a different mascot that is rejected.

I wonder what it’s like writing jingles for meds… ♫ ♫ When you have nausea, heartburn, indigestion, upset stomach… diarrhea!! ♫ ♫ Ooo… that’s catchy!
