A lot cheaper than spending the trillions in new taxes that the Dems are pushing. Or paying for that EV. Heat pump. Windmill. Solar panels. At home charging station.
And in the end it will mean nothing. The climate will still change. Simply because we cannot control the climate.
I said it before: You may not believe in climate change, but your insurance company certainly does. Many companies are pulling out of the Gulf states, and those that remain will be jacking rates through the roof. Florida, under De Santis, has the highest overall insurance rates in the country if you can find a company to cover you.
I the face of unprecedented rains and flooding last week, De Santis refused to blame climate change and instead said it was normal. Are the voters in Florida that much of suckers? It looks like they are.
And when trump deports all those workers willing to get up on a 145 degree roof look for construction cost and thus insurance cost to double again. We had a brief hail storm a month ago in Austin and a lot of people are getting new $20k+ roofs-doubt if any of the workers are native born Americans.
Yeah I would testify, absolutely,” Trump said in April. “I’m testifying. I tell the truth. All I can do is tell the truth.” – The Daily Beast 5/21/24
Donald Trump won’t testify at hush money trial as defense rests its case- The Daily News 5/22/24
Scientists say you have to have an IQ over 50 to know which one of the above statements is a lie so I doubt any MAGAt would be smart enough to acknowledge climate change.
Funny how every normal heat wave (they vary on dates and areas which is what brings new records for the specific date and area, not all time for any area) and always telling us how there’s more wildfires but not only is not the case (1996 there were 96k wildfires last time 96k was in 2006, last 10 years we average 60k, 58k in 2023) mind you 84% of those were cause by humans, the decade 1941-1950, there were 24 hurricanes of which made it to land 10 major , every decade since there’s been between 12 to 17, 3 to 7 major, last decade 4 major. The 9 decade before 41-50 there were 14 to 21, 6 decades had 20 or more, last 8 decade none had 20. i mean if you want o follow facts and science.
He either lives in Florida or California. A lot of insurance companies like State Farm have pulled out of those states. The insurance companies still there have raised premiums thru the roof
The massive property damage due to extreme weather events are not all necessarily related to something we caused. One supervolcano somewhere in the world will impact us all. I have seen climatic shifts, dry and wet seasons, all my life, and my parents saw them, and so on. It’s cyclitic, however, I do see a trend in warmer seasons, for now. Prior to this, we had flooding. I understand that has been a norm for my region for several centuries. So are we causing this?
As a matter of objective reality, recent years are among the hottest since records began. Three possibilities: it’s all due to natural causes. It is completely caused by human activity. Or a combination. Another matter of objective reality: climate change deniers are either imbeciles or lunatics. (Or a combination…..)
Both my car and household ins premiums went up a couple hundred dollars each and I drive 2 old vehicles and haven’t made an improvements on my home. Thank Mother Nature and all the weather related occurrences for the increases all over the country.

MAGAts all believe that insurance price increases are somehow controlled by Biden.
And there is no such thing as climate change, nor market concentration.

God must want higher insurance rates. Or it’s Biden’s fault.

Check your homeowners policy deductible. I changed mine from $500 to $2000 and it made a huge difference.

You wants to live on the southern coasts? You got to pay the toll, or take your chances and just get liability insurance. And take your chances.

Car insurance rates are way up because of illegals driving junkers with no insurance, plus EV’s are much more expensive to insure.

It is rather childish to think you can continuously and endlessly throw junk into the atmosphere without it having a negative impact.
