Mr. Hannity shows us that the path to utopia is through the elimination of all things liberal... this would include such silly liberal notions of the past like the right for women to vote... social security... the right for workers to unionize... federal standards to protect the environment... civil rights... and bring back slavery! All this and more liberal nonsense can be eliminated simply by getting rid of that most pesky liberal document, the constitution of the United States! So let's join Sean Hannity and goose-step our way back to a better, whiter America!! Jow: Uhhh... He didn't really say that, did he? Obviousman: Want me to read you the title again?

Women 1st had the right to vote in the Utah Territory… and it was no less “conservative” then. Claiming all progress to be the domain of “liberals” doesn’t make it true.

Last time I checked, Lincoln and Fredrick Douglass were among the first Republicans, while Nathan Bedford Forest was a Democrat.
Democrats also brought us Jim Crow laws and segregation in the military under Wilson
Maybe getting rid of liberalism means getting rid of intellectual dishonesty.

That makes sense to me. Pretty scary that all the liberal nonsense of today will someday be considered conservative. I wonder if it will all reverse in 200 years? If women going back to being stay at home mothers will be considered liberal? Maybe Wiley could do something with that idea.

One thing people have missed: It’s “liberal vs conservative” rather than “Democrat vs Republican”
Liberals advocate change from how things currently are, while Conservatives wish for things to stay the same.

Last I checked, the Democrats were at one time the party of slavery, Jim Crow laws, anti-Civil Rights, and just outright racism.
