Kind of cute. Since this is set in Maine, it makes sense to have an Acadian moose. But no French-Canadian talks this way. We may say «dère» for “there” but never «zere».

As a Frenchman named Pierre this reminds me of the very famous Pierre if the North. I wish Wiley would revive this character from time to time…
