“So the “solution” was deregulation? ”

Perhaps you need to read the cartoon again.

Yowza – ouch! And I say ouch because this is too true. People don’t understand that the DEFINITION of disfunctional thinking is that you expect different results from the same actions. While that may work in computers (just try it again, and see if it doesn’t work this time) it does NOT work in the real world. Right on W…. I just hope people are listening!

No, the irony is that Eddie will probably end up paying the loose nut (thank you digitalfrog) for the bailout. After all, his salvage operation should be pretty familiar with the boat, right?

Aw please hotspur666 – it’s not a ‘rat vs ‘can thing. It is a logic thing. If what you’ve tried (deregulation, curtailing civil liberties, giving money to billionaires in the hopes that it will trickle down, etc.) isn’t working, why do you think more of the same will make things better? You can spread scary lies about one of the candidates, but unless you have something better it just sounds pathetically desperate to those of us using logic. I just wish there were a real third choice. Who’s for ‘none of the above’ on the ballots nation-wide?

one for ‘none of the above’ and since we’re on the subject, it should be illegal for a lawyer to hold any political office, from city councilman to president

No one should pay attention to hotspur666, he’s just a racist.

Saying, “Obama is Muslim” is racist code for the N-word.

Hmm, that did come out wrong, didn’t it. :-p I just thought “loosening the regulator” and “deregulation” was a good pun (at least to an engineer it is)….

Is hotspur666 being censored, or did the author delete the post?

Logicman: I'm with you. Vote a blank ballot for None of the Above!
