”Unh? Is this a social networking program?”

Do you come around and read the strip and post comments every day? Socialize a bit? Tell all your friends how funny Non Sequitur is? How cool all the fans are who post comments here? That they should try it out too?

    Me too.

Do you feel a bit … peckish if the site’s down?

    I know I do!

    So does my horse, Ed.

I’m with grazer. For some reason I’m reminded of an old Wayne & Schuster skit where a couple of North American natives convince Sir Walter Raleigh to put burning leaves in his mouth and inhale…

”The geeks training the rest of the world to live in their environment.”

A perfect example of benevolent tyranny. Ubiquitously encroaching technology being inevitable, it’s for our own good. Might as well make it enjoyable.

    Bread and circus.

Could be worse. Forced twitter brain-chip implants. No off-switch. Think about it.

When life hands you lemons, pray for sugar.

”So, is Danae going to tweet all of her friends to warn them about the conspiracy?”

    What wolf??” - Danae’s tweetee’s

At Stanford University, they had a great cheer many years ago at their football games (I don’t know if they still use it) that they used when they were losing to some big time college football program that went something like this…

“That’s alright, that’s ok. You’re gonna be working for us one day!”

I knew it! I have been resisting twitter with a passion, alas, have succumbed to texting and wonder how I survived without that cell phone.

Thanks, Wiley - for both chuckles.

It means hungry in the Wallace and Grommet movies, too… Seriously, it’s only been a few years, but how did anybody get by without a cell phone? I couldn’t find a friend at the airport, because of the size of the building and the size of the crowd, so I called him. He was one floor up.

”@nonsequitous, I thought peckish was hungry, at least it is in New Zealand :) Horses are always Peckish.”

My horse, Peckish, is always hungry, but I’ve had a lot of horses with other names as well. But let’s check.

From M-W online: Peckish adj. 1.(chiefly Brit.) hungry 2.crotchety

As night follows the day, one supposes. Hungry for sweets, tweets, all same same.

By the way, that “@nonsequitous” thing, that’s not by any chance tweetspeak, is it? Sigh. If you guys are going to follow me everywhere, I give. Where do I sign up?

What about those of us who wish to be an audience? With no audience Geeks and Sport Freeks have no one to show off for. Danae is not an audience type. But what is she?

I agree, it was Newhart not Wayne & Shuster.
