How can readers get so deep about something as shallow as a cartoon strip?

Experts predicited the pitch was coming.Now we know its in full wind up. To woodsey,because we can.

Is that a tornado or waterspout in Panel 1?

We didn’t the magnifying glass for this comic, it’s big enough!

Me too. I’ve always dreaded the Sunday comic because of the tiny size. This is a HUGE improvement. :-)

Sadly, we’ve mapped the moon well enough to have seen the “Divine Wrecking Ball Co.” label if it were actually there.

That ole cat hangs on no matter what. Never gets ruffled.

Isn’t that how the moon was formed? A planet-sized something slammed into the Earth a bazillion* years ago, splattering out gobs of both, which eventually became the moon?*Forgive my use of technical terms.BTW – I love the larger size – now I can really appreciate Wiley’s art!

Certainly not Kansas. I love the Captain’s flights of …. his memories. What he believes things should be.

Always thought tornadoes, water spouts, hurricanes, earthquakes, and floods were just efforts to instill some modesty, and a sense of “place” in humans, hasn’t worked yet.

Make no remarks about Walter Brennan – the man won three Oscars.

To make a comic bigger, hold down the alt key and then on your mouse, on the little wheel thing on the top, put your finger on that and push it toward the front. That will make the screen bigger.

krisl73, the usual methods for enlarging the image do nothing to improve resolution. This appears to be scanned in a denser format, so the little details and the delicacy of the linework are crystal-clear. It’s the difference between watching a regular TV show on a bigger screen and watching a show that’s broadcast (and viewd) in Hi-Def. I agree, Wiley. Mistake or no, it looks glorious.

The wrecking ball is waiting for the Ekert and Anti-Ekert to meet.

The cat stays with him because its claws are hooked through his shirt. And quite probably, a couple layers of skin.

My son’s cat rides on his shoulder all the time when not on a leash, she just has balance and “cat-like” grace!!

As to getting meaning from comics? I’ve seen more thought, and intelligence, expressed in one panel, than in the entirety of some folks, especially politicians or radio “hosts”, careers. Wiley is one of the champions at that.

That’s one small step for man; one giant leap for destroying mythology!

If this keeps up, I’ll need a bigger monitor! Zoom me baby, zoom me!
