Run the numbers through William Lanchester’s equations and the tactical situation doesn’t look so good for the 1.

Not if the 99% are piranhas.

Natural selection is BALANCE. Natural selection does not deal in winning and losing. It’s only when there is imbalance that we all lose in the end (even those who short term think they’re winning).

The 99 little guys need some of those teeth too. They sell them downtown in various calibers.

If the 99% use the system, they’ve already lost. It was created by the 1% to serve themselves. And they continue to pay to keep it that way. So the only way for the 99% to win is to work outside the system, but the system won’t allow that.

If today’s strip actually reflected the reality of the OWS protests against capitalism, OWS wouldn’t be around right now.

The crazy right believe in natural selection, economically, but they deny it scientifically. With schizos like that given a voice, like, eg, FOX news, how can a nation succeed? Only by banding together and defying the liars and faux science and faux populists, like Beck and Rush.

I liked the ‘teeth in different calibers’ comment. Me, I’m betting that at least ONE Wall Street firm will have its building surrounded, opened like a can of sardines, and the guillotine trundled up. Probably a high-tech, solar-powered, electronically-controlled one. Maybe next year’s model.Coming soon…

if natural selection were left to function naturally the crazy left would die out of its own inability to care for itself. Unfortunately we allow the generationally incompetent to breed unchecked at the expense of those who actually work.

The police might not come to the aid of a truck driver who is getting racially assaulted on live tv, but you can bet your last nickle(if you still have it), that everyone outside the building would be cannon fodder.

Natural selection is all about a SPECIES reproducing (read-f**king) successfully within your niche where you find food, shelter and safety.

Socialism vs. Capitalism

The school is threatened by the rudderless fish (the government conservatives want) and it’s about to be eaten by the bigger “Wall – Street Pike” just off screen to the right. The apex predator in the U.S. is NOT “government”.

You win with intelligent, strategic planning and execution.

@James – The 1% are laughing at the ants below their glass and steel high rises. As defunctdoormat said, if the 99% play by the rules, nothing will come of this. It will take more of what happened in Oakland to see change.

That 80% are obviously NOT he generationally incompitent and should be helped to regain self sufficiency. The other 20% should be put on the B arc.

So apropos. Life isn’t fair; it’s a competition. Like every other species on this planet, we are in a competition for resources with each other. People that believe differently are deluding themselves.
