Damn! Youse guys beat me to it! You can’t get there from anywhere! I wonder:- does the row of icons across the bottomof the ’toon conceal the fact that the maze has no entrance? It would be just like Wiley to sneak something like that in.

@ Jo Clear: But how many have thrown two temper tantrums and held this country’s economic health hostage?

@ sleepeeg3: Sounds more like Republicans to me (and I’m an independent).

The DemocRATS are a new party? They have been holding taxpayers hostage for a few years now.

It amazes me ( pun intended ) how quickly the political rats, on both sides of the divide, are quick to ascribe this cartoon as denoting their political opposites, and not their own philosophical mouse traps.

The blindfolded mouse is the one with the gun to his head. And the mouse holding the gun is looking right at the scientists. That’s not a new political party. It’s an old protectionist racket. ‘You give me the cheese, or I’ll take away one of your pals.’

Good one, Wiley. I do feel like the government is run by rats, who hold a gun to my head, while navigating the maze of bureaucracy. Reason and logic are futile. You will join us or be lost forever.

“f they were intelligent they’d never let themselves be caught & experimented upon”

Replace “they” with “We” (and ourselves) and think about it.

You get caught just by being trapped in the large community.

I just hope they dispose of us humanely when they are done.

The original mice, long ago lost to history, were probably caught. Most were born in captivity and bred for certain charcteristics. They don’t know any other life. How many albino mice do you find surviving out in the wild….
