Republicans/Fox “news” viewers are actually proud of how her repeated lies on national TV have raised her poll numbers.

odd how the horde of reporters relish in making and then breaking the clowns..ratings i guess…billions and billions of dollars will be split among the media…

I had someone tell me that Fox neither exaggerates nor lies, telling only the complete truth. He was dead serious, too, and quite upset that I thought otherwise. I felt bad for him, but apparently it’s not an uncommon belief.

From what I can tell Fox News is no better or worse than any of the other major networks. They all have their agenda that they will exaggerate or even lie to get their point across. .ABC was the worse until Microsoft took over NBC and now competes with all news organizations to see if they can fool the most.

The fact that many of us see through the “news” gives me hope the revolution may still come. Light the torches—gather the pitchforks!

Often a reporter will ask a completely irrelevant question, and then blow it up to a major story by the “denial” of the non-story.

You want someone to watch FOX for three days???? And who gets to decide if it was a lie? Certainly not anyone who watches FOX news on a regular basis as its clear that they have lost all ability to tell truth from fiction.

So glad I am an independent voter aligned with neither party nor any network except may NPR and BBC. Interesting to look at how the rest of the world sees our “news”. Fox doens’t “lie”, they just tell their version of the story like all the others. The difference with Fox is it is so strongly slanted and easily spotted. (Perhaps a good thing) I have looked at some of the news on other media and it is always interesting to see how some tell this part of the story and others omit those parts.

If you watch TV news you are foolish, and good americans. Oh, and as one candidate keeps pointing out, losers.

I am a self-confessed news junkie but I cherry pick my sources to try to glean some semblance of truth from the plethora of prevarication that passes as news.Mercifully, I am not subjected to a daily diet of Fox, MSNBC, or the “Big 3”. In addition to Ecuavisa and Telemundo for my local news and world news with a South American slant, I watch on a daily basis, Al Jazeera , BBC, and sometimes Hong Kong News for their fairly balanced reporting of world events. I will occasionally listen to NPR and read WP’s Opinion Pages daily just to get the pundits pronouncements.

If you want to be informed and really understand what’s happening in our world, then you have to look at and read more than one source. I live in a country that is very prickly about criticism from the “free” press and does it’s best to “manage” the news. Reading “between the lines” becomes an artform.

Well, I’ve seen Fox Network news lie and stretch the truth, especially about the ACA, oh, excuse me, “Obama Bin Laden Care”. Come to think of it, Fox Network seems to stretch the truth on President Obama’s birth certificate and religion, too. All the news to fit the profile of our viewers is their motto.

When I was reporting, I hated dealing with politicians and political appointees; I knew their words were as phony as their smiles.When you catch them in a lie, somebody is going to accuse you of bias against them, when everyone knows rainbows and Skittles come out of their rumps.

Just Google “Fox News lies”, and you’ll see.An old neighbor lady without internet watches and believes Fox, though she is a staunch Democrat. Thankfully the old farts who are the biggest part of Fox’s audience are dying off.

Damn popup/slide ads; how are we supposed to comment with their actions? It is too bad when false news is allowed to push out truth and reason.

@Jim in CT: It’s comforting to hear that most journalists try to repor t the facts fairly. Have to concur with your opinion about FOX:We live in a very conservative "enclave in central Florida (we’re long-time west coast liberals) and FOX is on every TV in every public place. Was “forced” to hear some coverage a couple of weeks ago when at the dr’s office re: Clinton’s emails, and the innuendo and voice tones of the FOX reporters was quite obvious. Regrettably, that tone/innuendo put me off conservative news sources and so I give very little credence to what I hear/read from such sources. AND that’s bad for both the voters and “the republic.” I’ve stopped listening to the news and get my news from read several newspapers and many magazines. I particularly trust the Christian Science Monitor, simply because they always seem to give such a balanced view (that is, I agree with them about as often as I disagree with them.)

I watch PBS Newshour and listen to NPR……never watched Fox, sometimes ABC, seldom CBS or NBC….how about them Cowboys???

The only slight chance you have of learning the truth of what is happening in America is to listen to the foreign news.

Well I don’t watch Fox but all of the nonsense about Planned Parenthood is one big lie. It has been shown over and over that the videos were doctored, were obtained under false premises, and are being used for nothing but political purposes. But lots of conservative constituents are lapping it up…no surprise there.
