You know what they say: if you put real effort into catching anything while ice fishing, you’re missing the point!

Eddie’s got a real good point. Although, I’m afraid of those polah beahs wearin’ scuba tanks… They swim unda ya, and when they see them lines… They know theah’s a treat on the otheh end.

Fun Fact! My Grandfather took my Grandmother ice fishing in Minnesota for their honeymoon. He had relatives up there. Best picture is Grandpa in wool pants, heavy coat, boots…Grandma in a skirt, pumps, and a wool coat. Now tell me who’s tougher. :) They did finally make it to Hawaii in the ’70’s. :D They were the best.

From where I sit reading my comics I can look out and see ice fishing shacks. No whales or polar bears here thankfully.

I’ve never ice fished, but I know how to do it. You need a shanty. Preferably 10 X 15, well lighted, insulated floor, couch, stuffed chair or two, some windows, a space heater, a microwave, internet, sound system, satellite TV, a wet bar……On one side, a series of holes, 30 inches by 40 inches and some spot lights for watching fish….Am I missing anything?
