I’m a man…I have no idea of the rules of dress. Colors? Patterns? What the hell are you talking about?….I’m a man…I need not know…..Right sleave, left sleave is all I know….Kinda like his tie though…..
Is there an answer to this question other than, “I guess not.” After decades of being told by relatives and friends that I dressed like a dork, I’ve finally learned to dress myself. I match the elephants with the elephants, the giraffes with the giraffes … You old timers know what I mean.
the ultimate dandy in dress is the simpleton who unfortunately for us occupies the eecutive office. He appears to wear the same outfit, i.e., navy suit with shoulders too broad, sleeves too long, long red tie taped to stay in place which it never does. Morally, competently he is an empty suit with Putin the real owner of his wardrobe. I cry for our blessed country and the majority of Americans decent, good people who deserve better.
Perusing through the comments, I seem to be in good company with the fashionably challenged. :P :D Never worried about what’s ‘trendy.’ People who worry whether their outfit is ‘in’ this year, generally have more money than sense. Sometimes without the money part….
One of the many things I appreciated about military service was that I never needed to think about what to wear. I had my nice blue outfit or I dressed like a tree… either way not much deciding to do. I frequently had a choice which to wear, but I only had to pick from the two which ain’t that hard.
The other nice bit was everyone had a name tag and I didn’t need to learn a name, just read from the tag… that was one of the harder parts of being a civilian when I retired from the service, no name tags. It’s over twenty years later and I still have trouble putting names to faces, especially for folks I only see occasionally.

My fashion consists of t-shirts and jeans. Biggest problem is deciding which t-shirt I want for the day…

My wife’s concern is not that how I dress makes me look bad, it’s that it makes her look bad.

Hey! Be nice to him. Maybe he’s a used car salesman going to an out of state austo auction. In that case, he’s perfectly dressed.
