Geolocation, causes lots of problems.

I didn’t know hackers smelled like a$$.

He must be a newbie. Real hackers don’t hack just one user at a time.

I’ll bet that’s not even a real rabbit hole.

Does he live in his mom’s basement? Is that why they are underground?

Just think of all the free spam you will get and you can pass it on to others.

Technically, it’s Cracker", not hacker. Hackers find ways to get into places for fun. Crackers do so maliciously.

Now she is trapped in the deep dark web.

Ah, her distrust kicked in, but will she get her phone back? The plot thickens.

Wow, she literally went down the hackers ‘rabbit hole’. It is a hard place to come out of. Wouln’t it be ironic if his nefarious tweets and email and trash actually made her look better and more popular?

Danae is the consummate con artist, and con men confess that they themselves make the easiest marks.

If he lived under a bridges instead of in a hole, he’d be an internet troll, which smell pretty much the same.

At one time (about uh… wow, 40 years ago, at the dawn of the microcomputer)… hacker was a respected term for someone who could alter hardware and deep code for beneficial reasons. I remember piggyback soldering RAM banks to turn a 4k RAM machine (yes, 4K) into 16k. That was “hacking”… and hackers helped people. Unfortunately that took on a stigma that sticks to this day. But to me, the hackers were always the “elite” who helped people… often for just the fun of it, no charge, because they loved computers and the friends who used them.

So-o-o-o Miss Danae is now just the same as the rest of us. What a comedown for her.

Has Mr. Miller been the victim of a hacker? Like they say, “Write what you know.”

Next come the ransom terms.

Would the death penalty deter crackers and spammers? Maybe, maybe not. Let’s try it for the next 20 years or so and see.

A hacker is anyone who breaks into a computer system without permission. “Black hat hackers” do it for personal gain. They try a denial of service attack, steal your logins and passwords to take money from your bank accounts, control your computer, etc. “White hat hackers” do it more to test security strength, test passwords for strength, find black hat access and kill it, identify who is hacking your system and help bring them to justice, etc. They work with companies and governments to do good. They help thwart black hat attacks, and help strengthen security. White hats are the good guys, black hats are the bad guys. I have been a white hat hacker for almost 40 years.

And now it comes together and all makes sense! Nice!
