Nothing to do with digital art. An NFT is a token, used like a certificate, and it can point to anything which includes digital art. There’s no content in the NFT itself.
There are days where i am convinced the whole reason for Crypto and NFT’s is just to launder money. Such a stupid concept with even more stupid people buying into it.
I was listening to a live chat that included Jack Dorsey, Elon Musk and a few other people. They were saying that crytocurrencies are not subject to the devaluing by governments, such as how the dollar being devalued by the US currently.
But as much as I tried to understand, I still don’t know what a crytocurrency actually is.

There is a BitCoin machine in my local shopping mall. You can buy BitCoin through it. I have wanted to pull a trashcan up next to it and put up a sign reading, “Or, just throw your money in here.”
NFTs (Non-Fungible Tokens) are virtual entities that exist on a blockchain network, but exist solely in the digital realm. Cryptocurrency is a type of digital or virtual currency that exist solely in the digital realm.
Something virtual exists primarily in a digital or non-physical form.
To buy cryptocurrency or NFTs, one typically needs to use real money such as fiat currency (e.g. US dollars, euros, yen, etc.) to purchase them.
So you use real money to buy stuff that only exist virtually and isn’t really real.
Everything has a made up price that doesn’t mean a thing. Bananas to gold bars, it’s just what someone is going to pay for it. Doesn’t have to be based on anything. Bitcoin, NFT’s or any other too good to be true scheme.
It’s amazing how much people are willing to pay for nothing.
Wireless companies pay the government to use certain frequencies. In what warehouse do they stock this commodity? I got a warehouse full of 5G in Phoenix., I’m expecting another truckload this week.
We pay wireless companies and cable companies for signals.
I pay Microsoft for the magnetic impressions on my hard drive known as Office.

I’m no fan of cryptocurrencies or NFT trading, but it’s not like arts trading or the economy in general is a whole lot more rational.
