In some Third World countries the Gerber baby food company attempted to send some food for them to feed their starving children. The people would not serve it to their babies because of the picture on the label. It was because the mothers thought the jars contained ground-up babies.
The vet that looked after my mother’s dogs hated Mighty Dog. He said he had no idea what they put in it, but he’d seen several dogs literally dying, who would get up and try to eat it.

Feeding your dog BARF can eliminate its tummy upset…and eliminate the need for you to clean up after it. Better the dog BARF than you BARF.

I recall from my military daze that there were no pictures on c-rations because they neither looked nor tasted like any recognizable food.

Turkey loaf was my favorite C Rats meal. I wouldn’t even bother with the Ham and Lima beans.
