Hey, I think the self-screaming coaster is useful, Bev….It means I don’t have to go anywhere near one, cos it will do all I would have done if I were there.
Technology lost me a LONG time ago! And even though I become more of a dinosaur every day, I am so grateful that I am not joined at the hip to all of these new-fangled gadgets 24/7 as so many people seem to be!!! My ancient desktop pc is more than enough for my limited needs. Now just go away and leave me alone!
I have a strong tendency to eschew dependence on mechanical means – I’d rather walk or bike than use a motorized vehicle, I prefer stairs to elevators and escalators, etc., etc. However, if a self-driving car can be programmed to use its turn signals, then it’s better than 90% of the drivers out there, and I’m all for ’em.

We already have the self-propelling scooter. There’s a rental place in my town and sometimes people gather to watch the newbies fall off.

we’re just a short hop away from not needing people. Don’t think the machines aren’t noticing. (Cue theme from Twilight Zone)
