Well that’s never a good thing. Smell the coffee, certainly. Taste the coffee? No, no thank you.

It’s a metaphor for modern life. Find something perfect in its purity and simplicity and contaminate it with sweeteners, colourisers and other disgusting pollutants.

When getting a coffee is just an excuse for getting an artificially flavoured, over-sweetened calorie bomb.

A certain coffee chain makes terrible coffee so that they can make more money on the syrups added to disguise the taste.

I’ve known people like this. Why do they bother ordering?

Sugar is a white powder that makes coffee taste bad, if you don´t put it in.

When I was a kid, my parents would let me flavor my milk with a little coffee. I did it to vanilla ice cream, too. But as an adult, it’s just coffee. Nothing in it.

Another couple shots of caramel should fix that.

How many ranting here about coffee being “ruined” by combining it with other flavors go and “ruin” cheese by putting it on pizza, “ruin” a burger by adding ketchup, “ruin” bread by making a sandwich, ruin anything by pouring on hot sauce (or “ruin” hot sauce by pouring it on something else).

Fine, eat your four & water, I’ll have a cake with frosting, thank you.

At least it isn’t a Slurpee from 7-Eleven.

I suggest shi slips in an jalapeño. That should mask the (wonderful) taste of coffee all the customer wants.

Absolutely spot on! I am one of the weirdos who orders COFFEE at those fancy shmancy places though I seldom frequent them in view of their outrageous prices for what used to cost a nickel and should definitely cost no more than a buck even at today’s prices.

I’ve had exactly ONE Starbucks ever. I love coffee, sometimes I roast and grind my own beans ;-)

Put in 2 scoops of Dutch chocolate ice cream and put it in the shake mixer.

Coffee is vile. It tastes terrible and really, really stinks.
